Tea Room Policy

Please no children under 5 years old unless you are hosting a private party with us. 

Parties over 6 people cannot do a la cart and will have to choose an Afternoon Tea Experience. 

No pets allowed.


Children Etiquette while at Joseph's Tea:

While we welcome children over 5 years old, we do expect that all children be on their best behavior at Joseph's Tea Room. Children must stay seated at their table for the duration of their reservation, unless of course they need to use a restroom.  All children should be careful while handling our fine china and hot tea. Adults are encouraged to help children that need it with their meal and tea service.  Adults are responsible for watching the child with them at all times.

The Tea Room is not a place for running, jumping, skipping, dancing, climbing, crawling, or using loud voices.

At Joseph's Tea we strive to have a beautiful, relaxing, and rejuvenating environment for all of our guests to enjoy.  Thank you for helping us achieve that for everyone's enjoyment!  

Deposit and Cancellation Terms and Conditions:

All reservations require a valid credit card to book.  All final payment is due after service onsite.  The credit card on file is only charged in the event of a late cancellation or in the event of a no show.  The late cancellation/No Show fee is $15 per person.

Cancellation time frames for deposit refund:
1 - 6 people requires 24 hours' notice
7 - 15 people requires 1 weeks' notice
16 - 29 people requires 3 weeks' notice
30 - 90 people requires 4 weeks' notice 

Deposits for parties of 10 or more people are required. The deposit is $10.00 per
person. For example: a 20-person party deposit is $200.00 which comes off your
final bill day of the event. The only time this deposit is not refunded is in the event
of cancellation under the timeline above for party size. In this example for a party of
20 people, we would need a minimum of 2 weeks' notice for cancellation to get the
deposit refunded.  Parties cancelled without proper notice forfeit the deposit. 

Final Headcount is due one week prior to event along with any food allergies or
dietary requests.  All day of no-shows that food has already been prepared for must
be paid for in full.  If food has not yet been prepared, then we reserve the right to
charge a $15 no show fee for each guest that was guaranteed and did not attend.
